If you want to be able to easily release the leash, simply put the leash on the open hook. For more security, thread the leash through the D-ring first, then put it on the hook. Do not attach the leash directly to the D-ring only, as it is not designed to hold the dog on its own.

You can attach more leashes to the attachment point, depending on the dimensions of the leash. The hook can hold up to 300 kg.
