Mini-documentary: Empowered together

Ski mountaineer Malene Haukøy and her trusted companion, Freia, share the same passion for the outdoors. Malene and her dog love ski mountaineering and trail running together, as you can see in this inspiring mini-documentary!

- I am out a lot on my own, so it is really nice to have a dog on my trips. When I am out training it is very empowering to have a training buddy who is positive, happy and satisfied, especially on days with bad weather. Then it is nice to have somebody who is running around, wagging their tail and happy. On the days, when the weather is nice it is then an extra bonus. One feels like he or she is sharing the joy of being outdoors. Regardless of the weather me and Freia are enjoying being out in the mountains. It doesn`t have to be blue skies for us to have fun, Malene says.
