Canicross Couch to 5K training program - Week 2

We hope you had fun getting started with the training program last week! Here are the sessions of the week.

Session 5 (suggested Tuesday)

  • 3-min brisk walking as warm up.
  • 6 * 1 min jog/1 min walk. Repeat of session 2 from week 1, aim to start your jog and walk speeds around the average pace you achieved in your first attempt. If you feel good in the second half, try to increase the pace.
  • 3-min brisk walking as cool down.

Session 6 (suggested Thursday)

  • 3-min brisk walking as warm up.
  • 6 * 1:30 min jog/30 sec walk. Same format as previous sessions with an increased jog:walk ratio.
  • 3-min brisk walking as cool down.

Session 7 (suggested Saturday)

  • Canicross, 500m. Warm up/cool down routine as before. An opportunity to repeat the session from the first week, increase pace if you feel able to do so.

Session 8 (suggested Sunday)

  • 15 min brisk walking /jogging. A recovery/extra session, as previously performed to "feel" with as much or little jogging as you feel up to.
