Pushing limits at the IFSS World Championships 2025

The IFSS World Championships 2025 in Røros, Norway, brought together the world’s best sled dog athletes for an action-packed week.  

This year’s event also marked the first-ever Sled Dog World Championships where all on-snow disciplines competed at the same location. From Long Distance and Mid-distance to Sprint and Ski-dog events, athletes of all ages showcased their skills and pushed their limits in an unforgettable week of competition. 

We were also incredibly proud to see six of our team members competing alongside their dogs, each demonstrating not only their skill and determination but also the bond they share together. 

From Sprint to Nordic style and Long-distance racing, our team brings a broad knowledge of dog care, training, and performance to the table. It’s this hands-on experience and understanding of what it takes to perform at the highest level that directly influences how we design our gear for you. 

Real world testing for real world performance 

Since designing our first product in 2008, we have always had a passion for dog sports and a deep understanding of the needs of both dogs and their owners. Competitions like the IFSS World Championships are the ultimate proving grounds. They allow us to show how our products stand up to the harshest conditions. From the immense strain caused by a dog’s power during the race, to the explosive energy at the start line as dogs (some weighing up to 40kg) launch into full speed, every moment tests our gear. Add in the extreme cold, with temperatures dropping at this year’s event to as low as –24.3°C, and the challenge becomes even more intense. These extreme conditions provide invaluable insights that help us innovate existing products and future designs, that will keep empowering people to go above and beyond their limits. 

Driven by passion, for every adventure 

Our Product Director, Sebastian Plur Nilssen, has been with us since the start of Non-stop dogwear. He has a unique ability of finding creative and functional solutions that makes the lives of dogs and dog owners more enjoyable. 

Sebastian also competes at the top level in dog sledding, which plays a huge role in all our product development. By taking part in events like the world championships, he tests new designs and brings back feedback about how it holds up under pressure. It’s this direct feedback, from the trail straight to the design table, that helps us keep improving. 

We will always prioritize the free movement for dogs in every design, ensuring that every product is tested and refined for performance in all environments so you can always unleash your potential. From the very first design concepts to the final product, we test everything in real-world conditions by experts who understand what it takes to push limits.
